Refund Policy – Dancache Decorative Vintage Modern Antiques

We want every customer to be delighted with their purchase. Because our items are one-of-a-kind vintage or antique pieces, the following rules apply:
1. Items Collected in Person (TN12 6PY)
Items collected from our showroom/workshop are sold strictly “as seen”. You will have the opportunity to fully inspect the piece before leaving.
Once an item has been collected, it is non-returnable and non-refundable (except where required by law in the case of a significant fault not disclosed).
2. Items Delivered by Third-Party Courier
You have the full statutory right to cancel and return the item within 14 days of receipt under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
• The 14-day period begins the day after you (or your nominee) receive the item.
• To cancel, simply notify us by email at info@dancashe.co.uk within the 14-day period.
• The item must be returned in the same condition as received and securely packed.
• You are responsible for the cost of return shipping/collection unless the item is faulty or not as described.
• We can arrange specialist collection at your expense — contact us for a quote.
3. Items Delivered by Our Own Team
When we personally deliver, you will be asked to inspect the piece upon arrival.
Please do not accept the item if you are not completely satisfied.
Once signed for and accepted, the sale is final and the item becomes non-returnable (except where required by law in the case of a significant fault not disclosed).
4. Non-returnable Items (in all cases)
• Bespoke or customised pieces
• Items altered or restored at your request
• Items clearly marked “final sale” or “sold as seen”
5. Faulty or Damaged Items
If an item arrives damaged or is significantly not as described, please notify us with photographs within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange free collection and either repair/restore the piece or provide a full refund including all shipping costs.
6. Refund Processing
Refunds (where applicable) are processed to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the item back, and usually much sooner.
We are always happy to answer questions before purchase — we would far rather help you make the right decision than handle a return.
