Arne Vodder for Sibast - Rosewood Desk, Denmark, c.1960s. A beautifully resolved rosewood desk designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast, featuring a broad figured top, raised sculpted edges, and a light architectural frame. The suspended drawer unit sits to one side, balanced by the long open span of the desk, with a finished kneehole back allowing it to function as a freestanding piece. Details such as slender legs, raised edge profile, and discreet drawer pulls reflect the restraint and precision of Vodder’s work for Sibast. A substantial yet visually light desk.
