Danish Modern extending dining table, possibly designed by Rud Thygesen & Johnny Sørensen for Farstrup Møbelfabrik, crafted in luxurious Indian rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia). The rectangular top—106 × 99 cm, rising from a two part pedestal, the columns flare into four elegantly curved saber legs, each chamfered and tapered for sculptural poise and unobstructed seating.
Two separate 50 cm leaves (stored externally), transforming the intimate four-seat form into a generous 206 cm rectangle accommodating eight to ten guests.
Great condition throughout with signs of age and use through light marks, scuffs, including slight wear to the finish.
Height 74cm
Width 106cm to 156cm to 206cm
Depth 99cm
Legs come off for easy movement.
