A large glass flagon cased in tan leather, tooled with scrolling bands, with a plaited leather handle and a cast brass lion mask holding a ring at the front. The dark glass of the neck shows at the rim, and it is closed with a cork stopper topped by a wrought iron scroll.
At 35cm it is taller than most of its kind, and it has real presence on a sideboard, a drinks tray or a library shelf.
In the Italian manner, mid-20th century.
Condition: Good vintage condition. Scuffs, scratches and rubbing to the leather, as you would expect. Please see the photos.
